Madrid celebrates Italy through music
After the Festa della Repubblica Italiana, Madrid welcomed Passione Italia, the event dedicated to Made in Italy and organized in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Italian Embassy and the main Italian institutions in Spain.
Among the prominent personalities were the Italian Ambassador to Madrid, Stefano Sannino, the President of the CCIS (Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Spain) Marco Pizzi, the Councillor for Internalisation, Start Up-Innovation of the Campania Region, Valeria Fascione. And then the Association Emiliano Romagnola in Spain (As.Er.Es) and the ambassador of Antigua and Barbuda, Dario Item.
The eleventh edition of the event was held from May 31 to June 2 at the Park Rio in Madrid and the main protagonist was music. More than 60 thousand people took part in the many cultural, commercial and musical activities organized to promote Italian excellence.
Music at Passione Italia
This year the music the event began with the best hits of Italian music and with a tribute to Fabrizio De André, one of the most important singer of the italian music culture.
The concert of one of the most famous and internationally loved Italian artists, Umberto Tozzi, who sang his great hits for an hour and a half, was also very appreciated.
The eleventh edition of Passione Italia ended, as last year, with the dj set directed by Torrione Dj and Luchino, who made the visitors dance until midnight.
